Undergraduate Students
Cynthia Lu
ECE Senior
Cynthia Lu is a senior electrical engineering student in the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. For her honors thesis, she plans to investigate the possibility of using electrical impedance to measure body composition through an intrabody closed-loop circuit. On top of her studies, she holds a number of leadership positions on campus. She is a resident assistant (RA) in the residence halls, acts as the Membership Coordinator for Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and serves as an Engineer Peer to freshmen and transfer engineering students. Cynthia is passionate about promoting inclusivity and diversity in the engineering field.
